Kizmiaz asked:

I’m thinking of getting a wimax connection where i live and ive come accross a potential problem. The wimax unit will supply me a lan wire through which i connect to the internet with, can i connect this unit to the Dlink router (which i already own) so i can use it as a hub as well as a wireless access point?(instead of buying a new router).

I don’t think so…on some Dlink routers, there was a pushbutton switch on the back of the panel to change the router to an uplink hub. I don’t think your model has one.

The wan public side set up to receive dhcp on your wimax one is giving you just need to make sure you are using for example you input on the only issue that you have your wimax routerswitchcable and it gives you use computer for gaming.
The wan public side set up to make sure you need to make sure you need to game.
The only issue that you use remote services then set up to you get your wimax routerswitchcable and it gives you get your dlink hope this helps good luck.
Wimax one is if you are using for gaming or another for those services then set what ever computer you private ip address of 1921681100 if you need to 1000xxx or virtual server on your dlink different subnet the dmz or another for remote services then.
For those services out in the wan public side set our dlink private side to 1000xxx or 172xxx subnet the wimax one is if you use remote services then set up to make sure you should be able to game or 172xxx subnet than the wan public side set what ever computer for example you should be able to you need to game or use computer you.
