Before asking you the question i shall explain the situation

I have a PC with two network cards and a Wimax Internet connection.
I also have a X360.

My Wimax internet connection(named WiMax) goes straight into my 1st Network slot and authentication is through the browser(i have to login every time i need to browse)

I have connected my X360 to my PC via Ethernet cable(second network connection called X360)

I enabled internet connection sharing in my Wimax connection and it asked to make all other network connection obtain IP addresses automatically.

But if i make my x360 connection obtain IP address automatically then my x360 doesn’t connect to the PC.

My question here is how do i connect to Xbox Live in this situation. Should i use a cross over cable to connect my x360 to the PC ? Please Help

I want to get mobile broadband, but I don’t know how much 1GB is. I will be using it mostly for surfing and occasionally file sharing. I don’t download music or movies. I use youtube a lot.
I was looking at 3 Mobile as I am with them for my phone service. Any suggestions? They are offering 1 GB for 10 quid a month or 15 GB for 15 quid a month but over a longer contract.

Cheers

I’m having so much trouble configuring a 3-in-1 wireless router I bought that I’m beginning to give up hope it’ll even work. :’(
Basically what I got an Aztech Wireless Router which claims to have these capabilities: 1. ADSL Modem 2. Router 3. Access Point. I had been using this for ADSL Connectivity before but ever since I switched to WiMax (uses a different device or gateway) I have no clue at all how I can set up my old wireless router to act as an access point to my wimax modem. Like I have a wimax device which has 4 ethernet ports (Motorola CPEi300). My laptop is connected to one of these ports. Similarly, the Wireless router has one ADSL Line port and 4 Ethernet (LAN) ports. What I want is some way that the Wireless Router could be connected via LAN to the Wimax modem and use its internet to create an access point. Is it really too much to ask? This is really irritating because I think I have everything that’s required and I’m just not in the place to scoop out cash for that Fancy Linksys Access point. Any help would be much appreciated! :) You can reach me directly too at shahraiz30 at hotmail dot com. Thanks in advance.

Specs:
Motorola (WiMax) CPEi300 (i35600 to be exact)
Aztech DSL 605 EW
Laptop Hp Pavilion DV 6744

I’m looking to get myself setup with mobile broadband but I don’t know where to start. I would imagine using it to check my emails and browse the internet while away from home (possibly use MSN Messenger as well). However I want the best mix of connection, download limit and price. I’m with 02 for my mobile phone and Sky for my home broadband. Could someone make a recommendation?
