Nino asked:
I want to be downloading movies, alot of them. So I want a transfer rate of about 1MegaByte per second so I can be able to download a 4GB movie in just over an hour. I cannot afford fiber to my house and I’m wondering which wireless technology has such transfer rates. Kenya is just getting connected to undersea fiber optic marine cables, seacom and teams next month so my University might purchase higher bandwidth. What speeds might I be able to get at a University served by fiber. I will not have to purchase my own internet incase I can get download speeds of 1MegaByte per second at the University, what might I get? Which technology fits me? how is wimax?

I live out in the middle of nowhere, where dsl and cable are not available. I have sprint mobile broadband and it’s fast and I want to connect my xbox 360 to xbox live. How can i connect my xbox to xbox live using sprint mobile broadband? It’s a sierra wireless compass 597 usb modem, and the connection is listed under dial-up connections. I have it connected directly to the computer using an ethernet cable. thanks!
