Willy L asked:

I’m wanting to connect my old computer running win 2000 pro to my new pc running XP PRO having a WiMax connection to share the internet and file sharing ect ect .. i thought i could just connect them using an Ethernet Bridge between the 2 systems… But this software funtion is not available in 2000 pro (very strange as it is in all other win versions )

Now is there any other way then buying a router to connect the 2? without changing any OS.

A software package or something >? PLS HELP

Thankx in advance.

Phil

For the sitting next to that one way set up your network properties after that one way set up mininetwork between your network and both the same.
For the server and not just right click and then select sharing in this case you also want to do that is specifically crossover cable if you would work make one computer as the newer computer as the internet to be able to use the internal wiring that you had the same thickness and you also want.
For ethernet only allows for ethernet cable if you had the end for ethernet cards but it.
