I have a usb Verizon mobile broadband modem plugged into my Mac Mini. Internet works great but I’d like to share it wireless with my laptop. I picked up an Airport Express but it only seems to understand cable/dsl through an Ethernet cable. Do I need a different device or can this work?

I have Bell WiMax home wireless internet. And the modem works perfectly. When I turn my computer on sometimes it senses the internet and sometimes not. Usually after a long break turned off it need 2-4 restarts. Do I have to configure the wireless internet? Anyways anyone else have this problem. It’s really annoying.

I’m having so much trouble configuring a 3-in-1 wireless router I bought that I’m beginning to give up hope it’ll even work. :’(
Basically what I got an Aztech Wireless Router which claims to have these capabilities: 1. ADSL Modem 2. Router 3. Access Point. I had been using this for ADSL Connectivity before but ever since I switched to WiMax (uses a different device or gateway) I have no clue at all how I can set up my old wireless router to act as an access point to my wimax modem. Like I have a wimax device which has 4 ethernet ports (Motorola CPEi300). My laptop is connected to one of these ports. Similarly, the Wireless router has one ADSL Line port and 4 Ethernet (LAN) ports. What I want is some way that the Wireless Router could be connected via LAN to the Wimax modem and use its internet to create an access point. Is it really too much to ask? This is really irritating because I think I have everything that’s required and I’m just not in the place to scoop out cash for that Fancy Linksys Access point. Any help would be much appreciated!
You can reach me directly too at shahraiz30 at hotmail dot com. Thanks in advance.

Motorola (WiMax) CPEi300 (i35600 to be exact)

I’m looking to get myself setup with mobile broadband but I don’t know where to start. I would imagine using it to check my emails and browse the internet while away from home (possibly use MSN Messenger as well). However I want the best mix of connection, download limit and price. I’m with 02 for my mobile phone and Sky for my home broadband. Could someone make a recommendation?

Hey, I need ur help..
We r in the midst of a project that involves call admission control algorithms for wimax.
As u know there is one quality of service called RTPS(real time polling service) that requires a certain delay gurantee.
Can anyone tell me what is the standard delay gurantee that is provided for RTPS???
I mean , we need a standard value. If u can mention the particular network where that standard value is used, then it will be really helpful.
Ok??
We r in a desparate situation. So, any help is welcome..
If u can give any link that might b useful plz post it..
Thanx in advance!

Kenya is getting connected to 2 undersea fiber optic cables next month. What speeds and prices are expected?

Nino asked:
Currently I pay like 40 US$ monthly for a connection which usually has a download speed of 30KiloBytes per second, I think they call it 256kbps. Currently the whole country uses satellites. I wonder with the arrival of the Teams and Seacom cables what changes there will be in speeds. I want to purchase very high speed broadband but I do not think I can afford fiber to my house. WIMAX will be the best option, how fast if wimax and equipment cost? What speeds will I be likely to get at my University? What speeds will I get at the cyber cafes in the cbd Nairobi? I am asking this because I will need to run a business which will involve uploading 4GB videos, so I will need a very good upload speed but at which cost? If it is too expensive can I do it at my campus or cyber cafe? What speeds will they probably have?
